Northamptonshire’s leading contemporary wedding photographers love working on sunny days with couples totally smitten with one another! As we had suspected from their engagement shoot a couple of weeks ago, Justin and Catherine proved to be just that. Both the weather and the Sharnbrook Hotel, did them proud and a fantastic, romantic day was guaranteed.
Perry covered the bride’s preparations and arrived at Catherine’s parent’s house in Newport Pagnell to total calm…always a good sign! Bridesmaids and family flitted about with the conservatory converted to a temporary dressing room and Catherine tucking herself away out of site whilst her chief bridesmaid did a grand job of arranging veils and lacing her up. Meanwhile Paul and the lads had set off early from Rushden for the journey across Bedfordshire and found themselves at the church with time to spare. The church of St Peter and St Paul sits atop the hill in the centre of Newport Pagnell and proved a beautiful location for the wedding service (if a little challenging from a lighting perspective with bright shafts of sunlight beaming straight down on the newly weds!).
After a few group shots and the obligatory dousing in confetti in the lovely grounds of the church, it was into the vintage Rolls Royce for Justin and Catherine and off to the reception at the Sharnbrook Hotel, Bedford. As usual, owner and manager Ciro had prepared a fantastic reception and the weather continued to provide stunning skies and sunshine.
Justin and Catherine are off to the Mediterranean in a week for a well earned honeymoon cruise. We wish them every joy and happiness in their future life together and want to thank them for being such a great couple to work with. We look forward to welcoming them back with their amazing wedding photographs but for now here’s just a small taste of what we captured yesterday.
